Remote Monitoring

When was the last time you had a good night's sleep?
Ever go to sleep wondering if your network would still be running in the morning? Ever set the alarm early to make sure you were in the office to put out the fires before The Boss showed up? If you're like most of today's IT professionals, you know what we're talking about - and you haven't had a good night's sleep in a long time.

We understand that network downtime, even a little, can have a crippling affect on your business.

We also know that no matter how much you spend on disaster recovery, redundancy and failover, you'll still lie awake at night wondering about the "what if" and hoping your cell phone doesn't ring.

Let us take the worry away. Our e.Alert program monitors your network 24/7. We make sure that everything keeps running through the night, and over the weekend, just the way you left it. If something goes wrong, our Engineers are immediately notified and ready to address the issue. If your line goes down, if your server is acting up, if traffic spikes, if your website goes down - anytime of day or night…we know about it before you have to.

Here's how we do it:
We monitor key equipment across all of your locations down to critical network services. By observing traffic patterns, capacity and general throughput we can often detect potential issues before they occur. e.Alert allows us to see service interruption down to the individual component level, speeding up recovery time by identifying specific points of failure.

Monitoring your network is just the beginning. Having the ability to observe trends within your business system allows us to make important recommendations as your company grows. It also allows us to adapt quickly to changing conditions with your business model.

Network Infrastructure Management

Your network is constantly changing.
New applications, equipment, users and business opportunities ensure nothing stays the same for long. The challenge is to keep it running effectively. Network management is a process that balances the right tools with best practices and procedures. A complete strategy includes all aspects of network management: troubleshooting, disaster recovery, performance, optimization, configuration, policy-based networking and even process flow. At e.Solutions, we utilize our experience and expertise in technology and services to optimize your networking infrastructure.

Network Administrators are forced to wear a lot of hats. At any given time they must be the designer, engineer, firefighter or even babysitter. Having the appropriate tools to manage an environment is critical to your success. e.Solutions provides unique solutions to some of the most time-consuming issues:
Remote Monitoring across the network
Remote Support to the desktop

Software distribution and maintenance
Server monitoring and Event Alerting

CPU Alert
This alerts us if the Central Processing Unit (CPU) of your server is exceeding normal load averages. This is usually due to unchecked processes running in the background. We can correct those before your server shuts down.

Disk Alert
This Alerts us if your disk drive reaches 90% capacity or goes into critical alert at 95% capacity. The drive capacity needs to be expanded or files deleted to avoid a system shut down.

DNS Alert
This Alerts us if your Domain Name Server (DNS) is not active. Without proper name
recognition on the server, web site and e-mail addresses will not function correctly.

Connectivity Alert
We consistently are performing a test called a ping that goes out to a remote connection point (such as a router) and comes back with a response if the device is working properly. The ping test has a fixed time limit to accomplish this, if it can not complete this call it is considered a missed ping. If missed ping is returned, our systems are instantly alerted, multiple pings trigger a critical system alert.

FTP Alert
We only monitor this on a web server is running this service. File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is used to upload and download files to a server.

HTTP Alert
We monitor this function when there is a web application on the server such as web mail using the Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP). We also monitor client’s web pages themselves and are alerted is there is a loss of connectivity.

Windows MSGS Alert
These are the system-wide monitoring services within the Windows Server itself.
Error messages are instantly posted on e.InstantAlert system as they occur.

POP3 and SMTP Alerts
The Post Office Protocol (POP) is a protocol used to retrieve e-mail from a mail server. Most e-mail applications use the POP protocol. The Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) is the protocol that the majority of servers use for sending e-mail messages between servers. If either of these services stops running, you will not receive e-mail from the server.

PROCS Alert
We use this to define non-service applications and monitor if they fail. We can often fix these applications via remote connection.
